  • Salted margarita glass
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz tequila reposado
  • 1 oz triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon pickled cranberries
  • ½ oz pickled cranberry brine
  • Ice
  • Salt for rim

Instructions
 

  • Rim your glass with salt and set aside.
  • Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, cranberry juice, simple syrup, pickled cranberries, and cranberry brine to a shaker.
  • Add ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
  • Pour directly into your salted glass (strain if you want fewer cranberry bits).
  • Garnish with a few pickled cranberries and enjoy!

Notes

• For a spicier twist, add a pinch of cayenne to the salted rim.
• Make a pitcher by multiplying the recipe by 8.
• Try it with homemade Pickled Cranberries for best flavor (internal link!).
• Adjust sweetness by varying the simple syrup and brine ratio.
